How is the OMG shot performed?
The procedure uses PRP to stimulate the growth of new cells in the vaginal walls and clitoris. The platelets naturally generate tissue and increase sensitivity to stimulation. A numbing cream is first applied to the vagina. Then, blood is drawn from a donor site (typically the arm) the same way blood would be drawn for a lab test. Then, the sample is placed in a centrifuge to isolate the PRP and the resultant growth factors. The initial process takes about 10 minutes. Next, using a very thin needle, the growth factors are injected near the clitoris and into the upper vagina into an area that is most effective for eliciting a healthy sexual response.
